Contributor's Guide Submitted papers must be original and cannot be submitted or edited in other publications, must be written in Spanish and may be submitted individually or by several authors. Quantum will consider submissions that have already been presented in seminars or conferences but not published in a journal or book, as well as unpublished author's working papers. Papers published or submitted elsewhere will be automatically rejected, and publication or submission automatically stops the paper's reviewing process, . although it may have begun . All contributions will be evaluated by at least two independent referees. We shall acknowledge all submissions. Anonymous referees will review and evaluate contributions within 30 days of submittal. Referees may accept, reject, or suggest changes to the paper which the author(s) will be required to address before publication. If suggested changes were substantive, contributions will be re-evaluated by the referees after modified by the authors. Referees must always adequately justify their remarks. In the case of a disagreement between the referee’s reports, a third referee will aid the Editorial Committee to reach a decision. Within a maximum of two months after contribution submission, the Editorial Committee will notify the final decision to the request of publication in the journal. Request can be approved, rejected, or sent back for suggested changes. Contributions should not exceed ten thousand words (25 pages or so), including references and anexes. Exceptionally, larger contributions may be accepted, subject to. a very concrete and justified reason. Contributions must be presented in word format, margins on all sides should be 2.5 cm, . font Times Roman / 12 points and line spacing 1.5.lines. Submissions will be sent (preferably by email) to : revista@ccee.edu.uy Submissions first page must include only author's name and affiliation, and the submissions title. To assure a blind editorial decision, please ensure that your name does not appear elsewhere in the submission. An abstract of 10-15 lines including the papers aims and objectives, approach, methodology and conclusions should be placed at the beginning of the submission. Please include at least five key words to facilitate technical review. Reference citations within the text should consist of the author’s last name(s) and publication year in brackets. Also give page number(s). for a direct quote.. There should be a complete reference at the end of the paper, sorted alphabetically by authors' surnames. Do not use footnotes for citations. Bibliographical references should appear at the end of the text in alphabetical order, authors' initials and surname or institution’s identity., year of publication in brackets followed by the paper's title.
Avoid, as much as possible, self-citations and self-references. Authors should make every effort to see that the manuscript itself contains no clue to their identity. Submissions must be structured in epigraphs and subepigraphs , avoiding excessive disaggregation levels. We suggest to include an initial epigraphe containg objectives, background and context, and a final epigraph to include conclusions, methodology summary and which were presented in summary form the methodology and the most relevant paper results.
Annexes and Appendixes can be included at the end of the article, following the Bibliography Section, including information and external data to adequately complement the article's content
