Public Theaters Management: An adaptation of Balanced Scorecard The Performing Arts in general, and the complex drama in particular, have been subject of study of Cultural Economics. However, neither management accountability nor administration, have paid attention carefully to the complexities of cultural organizations. In this paper, we first make a review of the literature regarding the use of indicators for theaters management and then we propose a management model for a public theater. We adjust Kaplan and Norton's Balanced Scorecard by defining specific outlooks for these organizations, such as Cultural Policies and Sponsorships and Patronships perspectives.
